Welcome to Mahavir International

Inspired by the noble teachings of Lord Mahavir, Mahavir International started out as a humble effort of a few like minded people in 1975 on the occassion of the 2500th Anniversary of Lord Mahavir's Nirvana. Armed with the motto of "Love All Serve All' and the principle of "Live and let live", this organization took upon itself the task of promoting the philosophy and teachings of Non-violence, Non-injury, Truth, Ahimsa, Fellow-feeling and Brotherhood everywhere. These lofty ideals are of enduring significance and belong to the whole of humanity. They hold good for all times in all places.

Mahavir International has its roots embedded in Indian culture and its spiritual heritage which makes it a social service organisation with a difference. Its doors are open to all persons, irrespective of religion, caste and creed, social status, area and language, as it renders selfless service to persons in distress and those belonging to the weaker and under privileged section of society.

Ever since its inception, this organization has been steadfastly working in this direction, and constantly innovating to reach their desired objectives. Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. The fledgling steps gradually assumed momentum and strength, the branches started spreading their ambit, as it worked tirelessly, selflessly and dedicated in its commitment to alleviate the sufferings of mankind.

Today, with over 350 centres pan India, the organization boasts of a committed member base of about 15,000 people who are holding the torch high!
